“You don’t have to burn book to destroy a culture, just get people to stop reading them.” -Ray Bradbury

“‘Stuff your eyes with wonder’ he said. ‘Live as if you’d drop dead in 10 seconds. See the world. It’s more fantastic than any dream made or paid for in factories.” -Ray Bradbury

There were many quotes this week that were very interesting. I can’t really pick a favorite, but I do have some favorites. Like for example, Constance said “If everyone in the world saw different colors from different eyes, there might be great many new colors still to be invented.” This quote really stood out to me because of the way she worded it. Using colors to show how really separated we are as a community and how, if we all joined together, we could really achieve amazing things. Also the last quote, “‘Stuff your eyes with wonder’ he said. ‘Live as if you’d drop dead in 10 seconds. See the world. It’s more fantastic than any dream made or paid for in factories.” This is one that was confusing at first but very interesting once you understand he’s talking about how we need to start living life now and dreaming big.
